Here we are... about to get off the boat at our first stop. Let's go explore!
First stop: Villefranche, France. Yes, the streets were more like stairs. Not a great place to drive a manual. We found a bus stop and figured out how to get to Nice so we could find a beach.
I couldn't help but get some french fries in France. So authentic! :-) Just like their authentic sandy beaches.

Next we stopped at the Santa Maria Cathedral. Oh wait!!! What's that in the background...

Yes, we are casualy walking the streets of a city that was destroyed in 79 A.D.
This 2000 year old door mat translates to "Welcome my Guest." They sure don't make door mat's like they used to. 
This was their fast food.
Our next stop was Palermo, Sicily.
